As part of the Convenience Package, our 360° Surround View Camera shows you a high-resolution bird's eye view of the area surrounding your Volvo – a great help when you reverse or maneuver in confined areas with impaired visibility. The system uses four cameras: two at the door mirrors, one at the front and one at the rear. By touching one of the camera images on the 9-inch Sensus Touchscreen, you can get a view from that specific camera. The rear camera can also be switched to a zoomed-in view close to the car.

Standard Pilot Assist extends semi-autonomous driving to include low-speed traffic jams as well as general highway driving. When semi-autonomous Pilot Assist is activated, acceleration, braking and steering assistance help you follow the traffic flow within your lane to increase safety. It’s especially useful on long highway trips where the road markings are clearly visible. You can activate Pilot Assist by using the buttons on the left side of the steering wheel. Just select your desired speed and time gap. If your hand is not on the steering wheel, Pilot Assist automatically switches off. It is important to note that the driver is always responsible for how the car is controlled as well as for maintaining the correct distance and speed, even when Pilot Assist is being used. Semi-autonomous systems like Pilot Assist are restricted in how much acceleration, braking and steering force they can apply.

Standard Sensus Navigation provides intuitive guidance and connects seamlessly with our cloud-based services and navigation apps. It's conveniently operated using voice or steering wheel controls. Road directions are shown on your large touchscreen. You operate the system without taking your attention from traffic – the voice control carries out your commands. You have access to in-car apps that can help you get parking, share your location with friends or simply find the best coffee in town. To help you avoid traffic, Real Time Traffic Information (RTTI) gives you a clear view of alternate routes. Free map updates ensure easier journeys. With the Volvo On Call app, you can send destinations from your smartphone to your car. It also allows you to sync meeting destinations from your personal calendar with the navigation system.
